hi im doing my family tree and trying to get some information about the down(e)s and frodsham family that lived in quarnford, but i cant really find that much if you have any information, i would be greatful thank you vicki frodsham
There are several references to the Downs (and Downes) families in the monumental inscriptions in Margaret Parker's book 'Flash Back Two'. Also, on page 66 there is a photo of Elizabeth Downes, wife of Matthew, who died June 17 1920 aged 67. Their daughter was Ruth Frodsham who died Dec 12 1955.
hi i was wondering if you could help i am looking for the downes family i have found matthew downes mum being susannah downes born 1815 died 1883 in quarnford, staffordshire her dad is john downes born 1781 staffordshire died 1850 staffordshire but i cant find his wife or any other information on him if any1 cld help i would be greatful thank you.
