Would like to hear from any relations of my grandfather and greatgrandfather, both called James Brunt and living around Flash / Hollinsclough areas. Also any information about their homes, Winterside and Summerseat. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
We must share the same ancestors! I am now researching the Brunt side of my family, and Winterside, Summerseat as well. I'm in Canada, so probably no help to you, but just wondering if you found any onfo on these places?
Re the Brunts of Winterside - have you looked at the will of William Brunt, 27 May 1834? No mention of James but I don't know how far back you have gone.
