Hello Rod Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a message. I would like to respond to the three points you have made. Firstly: 8/10 could do better The two of us, who have created, paid for and run this site, would be delighted to have any feedback from our visitors and any suggestions as to how we can improve it will be gratefully received. This is not a village funded site. Secondly Don't realise what we have I would take serious issue with you. Every day I look with wonder at my glorious views, I revel in the fact that I have neighbours who would always help me however inconvenient it was to them, that there is here a most amazing community spirit. In fact it is just a simply wonderful place to live. Thirdly Great effort with the cobbles Although this is a 'privately run and funded' site I can say that, as a member of the Hollinsclough Action Group, we have raised the money and bought more cobbles and these will be laid in the next few weeks. However, if you would like to financially help to support this venture, then I can assure you that any donations will be gratefully accepted.
Thank you for such a great site, so full of interest and very prof done. It is a great credit to you all. I have family who lived in the Hollinsclough area many generations ago and I have spent hours trawling through births deaths and marriages at Derbyshire Reg Office so I know how hard it is to obtain information. Please keep up the good work. Well done.
