Trying to find out about the Tunnicliffes from barrowmoor particularly Frederick Moses Tunnicliffe. I have a photo of E H Tunnicliffe a machine gunner presumably in WW2 Does anyone know who he is?
Ernest Henry Tunnicliffe a private in North Staffs regiment then transfered to Machine gun corps.entered theatre of war in 1915.son of moses (jnr)and catherine.received victory medal and the 1915 bronze medal.Hes the nephew of Maria tunnicliffe FMTB'S Mum that makes him my first cousin twice removed.
An address list of the 23rd Hussars (WW2) gives a G. Tunnicliffe of 14 Ranworth Square, Liverpool. At that address in 1939 was Francis Robert Tunnicliffe, son of the Moses and Catherine you mentioned, but Francis (and Josephine) had no children that I can find.
