Hi there,
When I came to hollinsclough last year to one of your Local History events I met someone who had a picture of Mrs Wilde of Nab end with a pig in the farmyard. I think it was a Mr Wheeldon who lives in Hollinsclough. I wonder if he might let me have a copy of the picture. I hope that i might be able to cvontact him through your site. Many Thanks Angie

Hi Angie
I think that it was Denis who had the photo.  I will be seeing his wife at a meeting next Monday and I'll ask her if they can get a copy for you.
Regards
Victoria

What a great site this is. Keep up the good work
Thanks again

Hi Angie
I have the photo you were looking for.  I'll scan it and send it to you tomorrow.  I assume your email is still taylorswormhill etc.

Hi Victoria,
That would be fantastic. Please can you scan on 300dpi as my computer will be better able to enlarge the photo. As I remember it's only a small image and as I want to blow it up 300 will work best and i won't loose too much definition.
Many thanks again
Angie

Hi Angie
I've sent 2 photos.  Unfortunately they are not originals and there is a bit missing on the edge - it wasn't me!  It's the best I can do, sorry.

Hi Victoria,
The photos are fantastic thank you so much. Please pass on my thanks to Denis.
I thought that there was only one so the other is a bonus. No one who I've spoken to in the family has ever seen a photo of her as she died before most of them were born. Thanks for helping me to fill in another gap.
I was wondering if anyone in Hollinsclough can remember anything about the Wilde's and would be willing to talk to me about them.
Many Thanks again
Angie
